All-Star Announcement:
Now that we have our season underway, it's time to start thinking about All-Stars! This is a lengthy post, but please take the time to read.
All-Star MANAGER applications and PLAYER interest forms will start to be accepted on April 15th. We will be doing everything online this year and will not offer paper applications. You will login to your account at www.hedgesvillelittleleague.com and click on register as you did for the Spring Season.
Please note: Registering online does NOT guarantee you a manager position OR your player a position on a team.
Applications are due by May 1st at 11:59pm. Applications received after this date will NOT be accepted. All Managers will be provided an interview time to come to a meeting with the board of directors where you can ask questions as well as the board ask needed questions. Once interviews are complete, the board will vote and make a final decision.
To be eligible for selection as an all-star manager, the following must apply:
--Must have umpired at least 6 games at major league and above
--Must have attended 75% of their regular season games
--Must register and apply by May 1st at 11:59pm. (no applications will be accepted past this date and time)
This is ONLY for managers - assistant coaches will be chosen by the manager once teams have been voted on.
Interest applications will be accepted until May 15th at 11:59pm. We will not be accepting any late applications. We will be voting on players the week of May 26th and teams will be announced no later than June 1st. Again, please remember that by registering, you are not guaranteed a position - this just shows us you are willing and committed to playing IF selected.
